Yes to Brazilian Carnival at House of Yes? Yes to celebrating Clarice Lispector’s centennial in an 8h long party exploring the multitude of the Brazilian carnival? Or as we say, CarnAval? YES!

We say YES and we invite you to do the same. Get in your costumes and be ready to dance, a lot.

Saravá! is a Brazilian party for those who love to move freely and include performances and visual arts. Created by Group .BR, NY’s only Brazilian theater company, the parties are always inspired by the company’s upcoming production and serve as a fundraising. ‘Saravá! Yes Carnaval’ will benefit the production of ‘Inside the Wild Heart’, an immersive theatrical experience based on the works of the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector.

Kids 12 and under accompanied by parents or legal guardians are welcome from 3 – 6 PM
Free entry for kids under 12 years old!
21+ after 6 PM

House of Yes is a space for everyone to feel welcome. We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment, unwanted touch, homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, ableist, or ageist behavior. Always ASK before touching anyone at our events. If someone is making you uncomfortable or harassing you, please come speak to a security guard or ask for a manager. We will believe you, and we will help. All restrooms in our venue are gender neutral. Everyone is free to use the restroom that best fits their gender identity or expression. All entrances and spaces within the venue are single-level. There are stairs leading to the upper portions of the stage, for those who wish to dance in the spotlight.
