The Met Fall Festival 2025
Fogo Azul fires up the festival with two sets: 12pm and 4:30pm, showcasing our high-energy Brazilian samba-reggae rhythms on the front steps of the Metropolitan Museum! (In case of rain, performance will move indoors to the lobby.)
The Met Fall Festival is a day filled with performances, art making, family-friendly activities, programs, and more. All outdoor events are free; indoor events are free with Museum admission and no registration is required.
Battle Hill Block Party
Come out and dance to Fogo Azul’s Brazilian samba-reggae rhythms at the Halloween edition of the beloved annual Battle Hill Block Party in Greenwood Park, Brooklyn: Catch us at 7:30pm and stick around for food, fun and lots of other performances throughout the evening. Costume required!

NY Liberty 2nd Annual Brooklyn Dribble Parade
Fresh off their 2024 WNBA championship, the New York Liberty are bringing back their biggest community celebration — The Brooklyn Dribble, presented by Ticketmaster — on Sunday, Oct. 25 at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Free and open to all, the event invites thousands of kids and their families to grab a basketball and join a one-mile dribble parade through the park. The route starts at Pier 6 and ends at Pier 2, where a full Liberty Fan Fest will keep the celebration going.
Fogo Azul, NYC’s favorite drumline, leads the parade, kicking things off at 10am!
Brooklyn, get your handles ready, we’ll see you on the waterfront!
Clifton Halloween Parade: Fogo Azul NJ!
SPOOKY NEWSFLASH: Goblins of Fogo Azul NJ & ghouls of Fogo Azul NYC to haunt Clifton NJ’s Halloween Parade!
The parade is followed by HarvestFest (11:30-4:30) with festivities for the whole family: Hay ride, arts & crafts, carnival booths, food concessions, fun rides, and costume contests! More info here.

TCS NYC Marathon Opening Ceremony
The TCS NYC Marathon Opening Ceremony Presented by United Airlines kicks off race weekend with a celebration at the finish line in Central Park. The annual festivities feature the Parade of Nations—a showcase of runners from all over the world—and will conclude with fireworks over the finish line.
Fogo Azul proudly pounds out smashing samba-reggae sounds for Brazilian runners and all participants of every nation! (Approximate time: 4:45 pm)
52nd Annual Village Halloween Parade
Come in your best gorge-ous potluck-theme costume and feast with Fogo Azul as we parade in the nation’s most wildly creative public participatory event in the greatest city in the world! Ghouls will turn in their graves along the entire spooky route as our killer Brazilian samba-reggae beats infect all the dancing zombie feet! BOO!

It’s time to beat our drums to the riveting rhythms of the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon!
Join Fogo Azul at 44th Drive and 21st Street in LIC Queens as we play multiple sets from approximately 10:00 AM - 2:00 pm to cheer on participants toward the finish line!

Global Citizen Festival 2025
Fogo Azul is thrilled and honored to open the 2025 Global Citizen Festival in Central Park at 5:00 pm with a big Brazilian bang!
The world’s biggest artists and entertainers will lead calls for an end to extreme poverty, along with advocates, philanthropists, and 60,000 dedicated global citizens. This year’s Global Citizen Festival will be headlined by Cardi B and Shakira!
Tickets to the Global Citizen Festival are free and can be earned by taking action on campaign goals on the Global Citizen app or website. In addition the festival will stream live around the world.

NYC Dyke March
This year the NYC Dyke March will step off from Bryant Park at 5pm on June 28 and continue down 5th Avenue to Washington Square Park.
Thousands of Dykes take the streets each year in celebration of beautiful and diverse Dyke lives, to highlight the presence of Dykes within our community, and in protest of the discrimination, harassment, and violence faced in schools, on the job, and in our communities.
Fogo Azul will march the whole route ending in the park with a set of powerful rhythms.
